Finally

Alas, finals are now over... and now its time to do whatever I want.
Anyways, check out this new technology, it cleans your monitor by adjusting the contrast of pixels blocked off by dirt. It's actually super advanced... Check it out here
So then, I thought I'd share my 3 step plan with you all...
1. find a job... anyone know anyplace that's hiring? other than food service?
2. Start up some stock trading... easier than getting a job. Plus, with sharebuilder.com, you can get a $50 account bonus for investing $50... Can't go wrong with that.  I even found this book:
3. This may be the most fun and rewarding... or the most depressing: run a marathon. Not just complete any marathon in any crappy time, but the SF Marathon in under 4 hours.  So I ask, anyone want to train with me? Please?

(BTW, I make sure to photograph my hand in every picture, just so you know I took time out of my day to actually take a picture and transfer it to my computer... So you better appreciate all of them)
Oh and...
4. Complete my better version of Cloverfield... actually shot on a cameraphone.  Filming has been completed, although editing cannot begin. The problem is my phone saves movies in some sort of 3GPP2 movie format, which actually does not exist. So I'm stuck. But as soon as I can figure it out, you'll see a real horribly shot movie.  (This is the actual camera used to film Cloverfield. On the other hand, this is the actual camera used to shoot my masterpiece.)

Controversial

I was just surfing the interwebz and came across this article.  I don't want to anger anyone, but try reading it and actually thinking about it...  especially points 1,2, and 8.  If anyone wants to debate, I'd be glad to, but he did a real good job of verbalizing his arguments, so just read it and see.

Well anyways, back to studying...

Almost made it... well, it's close enough (3 days straight!)

OMG, spoilers! Don't look at the picture!

So, as you can see, I don't have a very high opinion of Cloverfield... it was very disappointing. I think I could have made a better movie on my camera phone.  I know they were going for a unique perspective and all, but quite frankly it was too much.  My opinion: maybe worth the $7 I paid for matinee, but not quite worth the $10 regular price...

So Angry!

I truly am sick of it... sick of what, you ask?
I'm sick of this:
Really now... how much longer will we be subjected to ads that are completely irrelevant?  The worst part is that these ads are usually very effective and alluring.  So, where is the nearest Sonic?

Yeah... a whole 55 freakin' miles away... although it might be worth it to drive over there for some 1/2 price drinks during happy hour... I've never even been there yet I know their specials, what a waste of advertising. (How do you like that high quality home-made graphic?)

Anyways, I have to keep my mind off of Sonic right now, it just pisses me off, so here's a video for today. If you know anything about the internet, you might find this funny.

Going daily for two days straight now... that's a record

Wow... this "toy" made me giggle in a childish way... (it's not dirty, its just ridiculous)

That would really sting... and it shoots 40 rubber bands per second!

I thought this was very Signs-esque: giant rocks moving across flat desert land, without any footprints or other animal tracks around.
Crazy... Here's a pseudo-scientific explanation that might ruin the mystique of that image.

And here's the finale of my post today: rappers making powerpoint presentations...
You can find the rest here.
To be honest, my "extensive" knowledge of rap culture means that I don't know half the songs referenced in the slides, but the others are still pretty damn funny.

Busy

Too busy studying for finals... does anyone actually understand calculus?
Anyways, here's something for you all to study for now.

Well, I was gonna post a video about Tom Cruise talking incoherently about Scientology, but surprisingly the Church of Scientology keeps pulling the video from every host.  So, here's a video of Demetri Martin on the Daily Show discussing social networking. (BTW, Demetri Martin = 1 of the top 10 comedians of all time)

Well, this just in

This is great... these guys are video blogging live about their 4 Zelda game marathon, and not just any old Zelda games, but Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess in 2 days.  Pretty damn awesome... To be honest, I have yet to completely finish a single Zelda game. So check it out

Sorry, nothing else, been studying some poker strategies. Maybe I'll have some good stuff for ya tomorrow night.

so... I lied.

Yeah... sorry about that, but I've been really busy, sleeping... and eating... and not blogging. But the way I saw it, no one really cared, but now I've seen the light.  A surprising number of people actually depend on me for daily content, and I apologize to all 6 of you for not delivering.

So anyways, here's an interesting story that I thought was relevant, (BTW, I'm now 18 and the plan is to hit up the only 18+ casino in the area this weekend)

Well... that was funny, but not quite as funny as ghetto whopper freakout, so I guess to make this even close to comparable, here are some more images... actually some flowcharts:

Seems pretty true...

Not to be controversial or anything... but also seems pretty true.

For those of you looking forward to Cloverfield, it's almost here.  And you know what that means, leaked information! I pretty much already know how it's going to end... but I won't tell you guys. Sorry, or you're welcome, however you want to look at it.

Daily posts, starting today

Well, now that my college apps are in and I pretty much have nothing to do, I'll be posting every day, so check in daily.  Hopefully if my readership increases I'll be able to find my long lost true love, which I'll write more about on Sunday. So for today, here's some fun stuff.

Have you seen those new Burger King commercials? The ones with the whopper freakouts? Here's some un-aired footage. BTW, it's un-aired for a reason... and that reason is some hilarious profanity... Get ready

And to pass some time, check out this very unique game
